AVEROUS
I build infrastructure, break it, understand why, and build it better. That cycle is roughly 80% of my job and 100% of what I find interesting about it.

What I Actually Do
DevOps and SecOps — which in practice means I spend a lot of time making containers behave, writing YAML that describes YAML that generates YAML, and occasionally discovering that a service has been silently failing for three days because nobody set up alerting properly (including me, once).
I'm particularly interested in the self-hosted / homelab side of the discipline — not because cloud is bad, but because ownership of your own infrastructure teaches you things you can't learn any other way. You can't blame AWS when it's your Mac Mini.
What This Vault Is
Not a portfolio. The professional work is at zaverous.com. This is the other side — the stuff that doesn't fit into a CV but is equally part of who I am.
Coffee obsession. Film notes. Music that rewired something. Logs from projects that went sideways and what I learned from them.
The Stack Under This Site
Built with Eleventy (11ty) — static, fast, zero JavaScript in the
browser by default. Served from a Mac Mini under my desk. Routed
through Cloudflare Tunnels. Proxied by Traefik. Deployed via GitHub
Actions pushing to GHCR on every commit to main.
The whole thing is a living proof-of-concept for the DevOps principles I write about in /logs.
